This was an exploratory modeling done for my own amusement. As a kid I always wanted this toy but it was too expensive for my family so I never got one. I guess this modeling session was my way of making one for myself as this is sort of hybrid of best gaming asset practices and modeling what was on the toy's molding in 1983. Rough build in patches but I learned a lot doing this model and may someday do more G.I. Joe for my own amusement. Maybe the Snowcat Next? At any rate this clocks in at around 47k in poly which shocked me seeing how I went for detailing over doing it more for a gaming mod or asset of some type. I do like to flex some of my skills now and then and model what I see and not what would be optimal for a game asset.
